Brightly into the sky

Pigeons and Actors

We many actors,
Trying for one job at an audition,
Are like a large flock of pigeons,
Vying for one large cookie
In the street.

Like a man and woman,
Get together with love, respect, courage,
And create
The role.

The role,
Like a child,
Is neither he nor I.
It is like us but different.
It is a third, unique
Being.
