"If you want to get genuine satisfaction in photography, take a long look at an ordinary object or situation. Give yourself to it, and ask if you can't see something mysterious there too. When you see it, nine chances out of ten you'll have the subject for an exciting photo. It works in reverse just as well. Go to a mysterious place and search for something ordinary. Where the ordinary and the strange meet, that's where the picture will be."
